Journalist, digital media storyteller with a bachelor degree in History of ancient Greek and Rome art, Federica launched A stroll around the world, a luxury travel and lifestyle blog for those who enjoy discovering at a leisurely pace, in February 2018. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, she has spent four years in the US, where she graduated in Digital Media and storytelling, before moving to London, UK. She is an enthusiastic communications specialist with over fifteen years of expertise in digital media storytelling, television production, journalism, public relations and event design. Federica is an expert at aligning media communications with company vision and values, in networking with media outlets to get the right messages out and in using social media to create positive images and dialogue. She has a genuine passion in telling stories and in learning new technologies.
I mainly write for my blog, A stroll around the world. I have recently contributed to Touring Bird, a travel app launched by Google last spring. I am also open to work as freelance journalist and writer for other press and media company and I am planning to work on reach out Media Corporation in 2019.
I am happy to endorse my work for my travel blog. Here I create high quality storytelling, with a keen attention to written and imaginary contents, accurate and verified information, to make it a reliable source of inspiration for international travelers who are seeking for luxurious experiences across the world.
Something more about my blog: My main target audience is based in US, followed by UK and Italy based readers. They are well educated (with a Master or PhD) and they are mainly women ranging between 35 and 55 years old, with a secondary target audience of 55-70 years old lady. My ladies seek for relaxing and cultural experiences, for wellness holidays focused on meditation, weight loss and anti-ageing treatments.
I tent to cover stories regarding historical places rich in art and writing about how to fully experience them at a luxurious level (including tips/review on hotel stays, shopping addresses, restaurants and wellness centers). As second interest, given my target audience, is represented by wellness retreats for anti-ageing, weight loss/detox and beauty treatments.
I am happy to be contacted by email or through LinkedIn.
Luxury hotels, spa and restaurants, small shops, set in historical locations are of my interests as well as road trips to discover well-established and more off the beaten path cultural heritage sites. But also travel offers connected to anti-ageing, weight loss/detox and beauty treatments.

Gina is a freelance writer with over 7 years of experience. She is a 2017 Lowell Thomas Foundation Awards recipient and one of her pieces was featured on The New York Times' "Great Stories Around the Web" list. She is also an alumna of both Yale's and Colgate's writing workshops.
My work has been featured in a wide variety of outlets including TripSavvy (formerly About Travel), Roads and Kingdoms, AAA Traveler Magazine, AAA Home & Away Magazine, Darling Magazine, Pizza Today, Hamlet Hub, Quartz, Rails to Trails, Time Out, and Shape Magazine.
Hamlet Hub is the greater New York City area’s largest positive news website. It has a regional focus, but the readers are well-traveled and always respond positively to both the domestic and international travel stories I’ve written for the site.
It’s easier for me to detail what I don’t cover, which is family/children’s travel. My primary focus is travel, which includes everything from adventure to luxury to fitness/wellness, and more. I also have experience covering food, fashion, spirits, fitness, wellness, and lifestyle.
Timeliness is so important. Why is this story relevant right now?
Either is great. We can chat on social media and move to email if a longer conversation is necessary.
Be interesting. Be timely. Be new and/or different.
Aside from children’s content, which I don’t cover, you never know if a fashion pitch could turn into a travel story (this has happened before), so don’t be afraid to step out of the box.
