January 3, 2024: G/O Media has named Dan Hirschhorn as the new editor-in-chief of Quartz, effective
immediately. Hirschhorn comes from The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where he was deputy managing editor for news and investigations. Before that, he was an assistant managing editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer.
