June 12, 2025: Elizabeth Paton, formerly the International Style Correspondent at The New York
Times, has been appointed Fashion Editor at the Financial Times and will begin in August.
In this position, she will oversee the Financial Times' fashion and style coverage and write the weekly newsletter Fashion Matters. She will also curate the Business of Luxury Summit, the FT's annual event that brings together some of the most influential leaders in global luxury and fashion.
Elizabeth began her career at The Sunday Times in London and previously worked at the FT's New York bureau as a corporate reporter covering luxury and retail.
