It’s almost the new year! So what hair trends are staying and what trend predictions are we taking into 2026?
Hair accessories
Hair accessories are IN! 2025 seemed to be the rediscovery of hair accessories, especially wrap-around headbands and scrunchies. But in 2026, it seems that headscarves, headbands, bows and more will be embraced. So throw a hair accessory on and make a statement!

The slick back
The slick back - a ponytail, bun, braid, or just long, the slick back is trending with new forms. On the runway we saw slick back ponies and long hair gelled back, indicating that this trend isn’t going anywhere.
Bangs
Bangs or fringe, whatever you want to call them, are surging through the predicted trends. Unique cuts that are above the eyebrows have graced the runways, asymmetry and choppy fringes were also showcased. But bangs are back!
This round of trend predictions prove that well-loved trends can stick around. So watch those trends and we’ll update you as we move closer to 2026 to see what other hair trends are making their way to the “face frames”.
